COVID-19 Update

This idea of online retail sales is a ‘work in progress’.  Now, to be honest, it may not be ‘pretty’ but we are doing the best we can under the circumstances. Please bear with us as we scramble as all local businesses in our community are!

Our doors remain closed but we still have all the amazing products available for you.  If there’s something you need send me an email at jen@vestedinterest.ca or call me 705-845-8170 and we will arrange to get it bagged up for curb side pick-up or possible delivery (depending on the order).

Social distancing must be strictly followed and adhered to during the process.  Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard (over the phone), or we can arrange an e-transfer.

Thank you for supporting local business during this unprecedented time.

Stay well. We will get through this together!

At Vested Interest Trading, our mission is to import hand-made goods from around the world, while engaging in Fair Trade and sustainable practices.  We support global economies by working with artisan families in countries like Indonesia, Thailand, and Nepal.

Since 1993, we have traveled across the world in search of unique and intriguing goods. Along the way, we made it our policy to buy only from family run, cottage industry businesses and never from large manufacturers, helping to ensure the viability and strength of remote villages and the men and women who inhabit them.

At home in Northern Ontario, we support local businesses through our consignment program. It allows us to offer organic honey, fresh produce, golden beef, natural soaps, and maple syrup alongside our collection of art, furniture, clothing, and home furnishings.
